I was wondering about the shading problems I'm having wherever the shoulder meets the tanktop or wherever there is some sort of angle. I'd fix those problems with props by either adding more geometry, or editing the normals of the verts. Would I approach it in a similar way in this case?

First day of retopo, Chris linked me to lots of bad ass reference and stuff, which ends up linking to EVEN MORE reference and stuff. I'm trying to make sense of it while also trying to figure out how exactly to screen-cap this that it makes sense... I decided to start out with the notorious SHOULDER!

Just a small update with the final detail pass on the boots, I wanted to make sure they looked like cowboy boots, so I added a design. It's the last detail I'm probably going to do until I move on to the low poly.
This image is just me goofing around with Decimation Master + Mental Ray in Max 2011, I'm looking forward to seeing how the next steps turn out!
